Partners

The Fitzhugh Mulllan Institute for Health Workforce Equity has developed a unique partnership with experts in the field of addressing burnout and moral injury for health and public safety workers and trainees, including:
American Federation of Teachers: AFT works directly with health professionals and public safety workers to improve working conditions through community engagement, organizing, collective bargaining, and political activism.

Institute for Healthcare Improvement: IHI has over 25 years of experience in driving cross sector improvement and collaborating across boundaries. Given their commitment to joy and wellbeing, and extensive reach and impact in the health care community, IHI is uniquely positioned to support joy and improve mental health and wellbeing in the context of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Moral Injury of Healthcare: MIHC reframed distress in the workplace – in healthcare and elsewhere – to recognize the role of moral injury. MIHC is developing collaborative, systems-level solutions to workforce distress through research, education, and advocacy.
