Findings from the Lorna Breen Act Grantees

From January 2022 to December 2024, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) supported a national initiative to address burnout, mental health, and well-being among health and public safety workers as well as students and trainees (“learners”). This report brings forward the voices and experiences of funded grantees, who designed and implemented a wide range of programs in their organizations, as well as insights from their technical assistance coaches. Drawing on survey, focus group, and interview data from the final year of the grant, the findings highlight both the tangible accomplishments of these efforts and the broader lessons that can inform future investments in workforce well-being.
