Julia Strasser is a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Health Policy & Management at the Fitzhugh Mullan Institute for Health Workforce Equity. She has worked in healthcare, with a focus on policy and research, for over 15 years, including previous positions at the National Cancer Institute, the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association, and Planned Parenthood of Western Washington. Her dissertation research examined practices and policies for providing a one-year supply of oral contraception on-site at Community Health Centers, and her current research interests include reproductive health, Medicaid, and Community Health Centers. She holds a BA in History from Yale University, an MPH from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a concentration in women's and reproductive health, and a DrPH in Health Policy from The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health.
