Yoon Hong Park is a Health Policy Ph.D. student at the Milken Institute School of Public Health. The areas of his research interest include policy evaluation, health disparities, and social determinants of health. Before joining the Mullan Institute, he worked as a graduate research assistant at the Center for Spatial Data Science, participating in two research projects: 1) quantifying the neighborhood-level social determinants of health in the continental United States and 2) creating an open data dashboard that maps each air-quality indicator in the City of Chicago that would affect public health outcomes. He earned his Master's degree in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and Bachelor's of Arts in International Affairs and Political Science from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University.
