Jordan Herring joined the Mullan Institute as a Program Associate in June 2021. His research interests include leveraging data and statistical analysis in novel ways to understand how successful public policies are in completing their objectives, and how to construct better policies to appropriately serve disadvantaged populations. Prior to the Mullan Institute, he was a research analyst with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. His work focused on econometric and statistical analysis of large scale panel datasets related to how individuals' health and health insurance statuses impact economic decisions such as consumption, savings, and labor supply. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Policy and Public Administration (Public Budgeting & Finance) at the George Washington University. He holds an MS in Economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in International Economics with a Spanish minor from Texas Tech University.
