Rachel Banawa is a Research Associate in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Fitzhugh Mullan Institute for Health Workforce Equity. Her primary responsibilities include completing data analysis and data cleaning tasks for workforce projects related to reproductive health and behavioral health. Prior to joining GW, she interned at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) as a Public and Patient Engagement Intern and also worked as a Research Assistant at the UNC Sheps Center for Health Services Research. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Public Health degree from the Department of Health Policy and Management at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a BA in Psychology from North Carolina State University.
