Yes. This is a full-time residential fellowship program in Washington, D.C. In-person programming and site visits are held throughout the duration of the program and the expectation is that all fellows reside locally. I am a medical student or resident, can I apply while working in my state?
Medical students and residents are welcome to apply, but please note that this is a full-time residential program based in Washington, D.C. This would require a year of leave from your medical residency or graduate program. I am a PHD student, can I apply?

The OMH HELDI program is a full-time fellowship program and it is expected that you are able to work full-time as a fellow. If you are a current graduate student, we recommend that students take this into account before applying to the program and consider whether they will be able to balance both workloads.
